Zaid was on his first vacation with the love of his life celebrating her birthday — a long-awaited moment of joy, rest, and celebration. But in the middle of this dream getaway, everything changed.
He suffered a sudden and severe medical event that has left him stranded in the Caribbean, far from home, far from the care he urgently needs. Local hospitals are not equipped to give him the treatment that could save his life. The best chance for his recovery is to get him back to the U.S. and on a life-saving treatment plan.

Zaid is one of the kindest, most compassionate people you’ll ever meet. A loving partner, loyal friend, talented artist, and all-around gentle soul — he’s always been the one to show up for others, no questions asked. Now, he’s facing a serious and urgent medical condition that has taken a rapid toll on his health and quality of life.
Due to systemic healthcare delays and financial barriers, Zaid is unable to access the critical medical treatment, diagnostic care, and support he needs — and time is running out.
